Product Data Quality Analyst
Ibotta is looking for a Product Data Quality Analyst to build something great with us. As part of the Data Services team, you will work to ensure that Ibotta’s product data asset is securely managed, accurate, and up to date. This role serves as a foundational member of the larger Data Management function and presents a great opportunity to be part of a highly impactful and influential team in a fast-growing and dynamic area
Here is what you'll be doing:
- Become an expert in the details of product UPC data and category hierarchy
- Gather, aggregate, and validate data from disparate sources
- Perform data asset audits and analyses
- Create secure processes for performing data asset updates
- Research and develop new sources of data procurement
- Make recommendations for enhancing data asset quality
- Train fellow employees on data asset audit and update best practices
- Work in partnership with other data governance and management functions to define and execute Ibotta’s holistic data lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of practical work experience in Analytics
- Experience in data quality management
- Demonstrated analytical ability, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment
- Knowledge of SQL and proven data wrangling skills
- Strong knowledge of advanced statistical analytics techniques
- Experience using modern data analysis tools (Python)
- Experience with distributed big-data tools like Spark, Hive, Presto, Athena
