We are looking for a Product Architect to join our team. The Product Architect’s primary focus is to design and develop highly scalable and standardized applications for FWI’s market solution products. Their expertise in FWI’s application publishing platform, Content Manager, is crucial to ensure that market solution applications are technically viable for our users to configure, implement, and manage.

 

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Develop scalable applications
  • Create and implement architectural standards and best practices for market solutions
  • Ensure market solutions applications meet all requirements of adherence to architectural standards, quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility.
  • Take a long-term strategic approach to design and development taking into account the product roadmap; develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Work closely with our product owner team to help develop leading client solutions; help determine functional and non-functional requirements of future projects and features and estimate the work scope accordingly
  • Evaluate new technologies and the evolution of current technologies for optimal application of technology to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrate market solutions applications both internally and externally
  • Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Train and support internal teams to ensure implementation and management of market solution applications
  • Function as a product escalation support as needed

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Expert knowledge of FWI Content Manager and Content Players
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, methods and principles
  • Knowledge of software development issue tracking tools i.e., JIRA
  • Experience with networking and hardware industry technologies
  • Understanding of product owner user stories and Requirements and its relation to deliverables/scope
  • Ensure key milestones are set and being met
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills; ability to decompose complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak and write clearly and accurately, particularly as it relates to technical concepts.
  • Passionate about quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

Helpful for Success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, 0-2 yrs prior experience in software product architecture or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years prior experience of FWI Content Manager and associated technologies
  • Quality Assurance experience
  • Familiar with UX and Design principles
  • Knowledge of utilizing Data Objects, APIs, integrations
