DAT Software and Analytics is looking for an entry level Product Analyst to join our Product Team in Denver, CO.

We are looking for an analytically-driven, organized, and intellectually curious team player to join a Product team that is focused on building apps and tools that streamline the digital workflow of moving truckload freight.

You’ll be joining a small team that seeks to accomplish big things, and help us shift our data-driven product development process into high gear!

What You’ll Do

• Help create, implement, and validate product instrumentation plans.
• Develop a deep understanding of the data, root out data-related issues, and improve data organization.
• Create dashboards, one-off reports, and deep-dive analysis that provide internal customers with the information to make strategic decisions.
• Provide decision makers with context and recommendations to validate their decisions.
• Document our processes, metrics, and learnings.

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

• Solid SQL skills are required.
• Experience structuring data is required.
• Experience using web/app analytics software, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, and Amplitude is required.
• Experience with a reporting and data visualization tool, such as Excel, Tableau, Mode, or Chartio is required.
• Familiarity with instrumenting digital platforms, either directly or via a tag manager such as Segment, is a plus.
• Solid background in statistics is a plus.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar programming language is a plus.
• BS Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
