Job Description
As the Product Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day success of defining and implementing product metrics, and automating the distribution of reports which analyze and track the overall health of our product suite. You will be responsible for providing insight into how our products are used, at what frequency, etc. and your insight and analysis will be invaluable to help focus our Product and Engineering Teams efforts. Additionally, your efforts will help guide our Sales Team to better understand our existing Client base, and how to maximize upsell while minimizing churn. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities:
Data:
- Responsible for acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining Salesforce Einstein Analytics (or alternative Analytics platform)
- Responsible for quality of source data used in analysis
- Responsible for general maintenance of Tableau instance
- SME knowledge of relational data in Salesforce from data sources e.g. DBs
- Analytics:
- Help research, define, and implement key product metrics
- Track performance against targets
- Analyze usage and trends
Deliverables:
- Provide automated reporting for business end users’ consumption (Product Team, Management, Sales Team, etc.)
- Provide ad hoc reporting on an as needed basis
- Work directly with internal Salesforce.com Business Systems and Engineering Teams to define and implement any needed changes to support Analytics
- Work directly with Product Managers, Management, etc. on an as needed basis to provide needed analysis and insight
Qualifications
- Fastidious, anal retentive attention to detail
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- Salesforce certification preferred
- Ability to engage across all levels of leadership and stakeholders throughout the organization
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Work both independently and in groups, and collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Work in a complex and changing organization and adapt to changes in structure and work priorities
