The person in this role will be able to manipulate complex and varied data sets, normalize them, find patterns and distill insights for the wider product management team to develop initiatives. The business analyst will be able to collaborate with the data science team to understand the existing data landscape within Zoom and apply learnings to extract insights.

What You’ll Do

• Develop data queries and dashboards to address key business questions 

• Automate manual data collection and manipulation traditionally done in Excel, enabling product management partners to focus on problems that actually require their expertise.

• Create robust data dashboards where stakeholders can easily view generate insights

• Own and maintain business data models in Tableau

• Become the go-to person if product management partners have any questions or issues with data or dashboards

• Diagnose issues on the fly and provide guidance with metrics and visualizations

• Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward

• Document data definitions, key metrics and sample reports, ensuring alignment and consistency with Data Science and Data Engineering teams

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or business analytics or in related discipline 

• 4+ years of work experience in a similar business intelligence, data analytics role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an analytics platform (Tableau, Domo etc.)

• Knowledge of/willingness to learn Python

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence or comparable project management/collaboration tools

• Understanding of telecom domain is preferred but not required

• Understanding of agile product development framework
