About the Team:
JumpCloud Data Services provides visibility, monitoring, and insights, on all of your Directory services data. It collects, stores, transforms and simplifies your Directory data to provide custom and out-of-box reporting, monitoring/alerting and actionable insights that saves time and resources for the customer in being secure and compliant. JumpCloud Data Services is a fast growing critical component in the JumpCloud product suite.

What You Will Be Doing:
As the voice of our customers globally, you’ll deeply understand how to make their lives better through JumpCloud products. One of our core product principles is “do the right thing”. We expect you to represent our company and exercise good judgment, by balancing the needs of our diverse set of stakeholders. You will accomplish this by teaming up with designers, developers, other product managers, and business stakeholders to create delightful, engaging experiences. You will gather customer requirements, design prototypes, prioritize and scope releases that represent customers’ needs, then work with the rest of the engineering team to build those products and iterate on them over time.
In this role, you will own the roadmap and execution for various data insights and data services products. This can include UX/API experiences for alerting, reporting and dashboarding; data science models, data engineering pipelines, and UI/UX experiences; and workflows for making data-driven decisions across JumpCloud Data Services platform. You will be working closely with stakeholders helping think through tradeoffs in scale, architecture, workflows, visualizations, model approaches, and customer impact. You will have fun!
- 8+ years of Product Management experience delivering software solutions preferably in SaaS or other Cloud technologies
- Customer focus -- As a PM you are the voice of the customer and need to represent them from a position of deep understanding.
- Excellent written and communication skills both in large and small groups including executive level presentations
- A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects
- Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs. Passion for technology and how to apply that to problems of massive scale
- Passion -- your work matters. Your personality matters.
- Grit -- sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations.
- Collaborative -- the best PMs are not necessarily those with the best ideas, but those who make sure the best work gets done as a team
- Degree in Engineering, Math or Information Systems. MBA is a plus
- Prior experience in data platforms or other data based solutions
- Prior experience working at AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
- Entrepreneurial -- as a Principal PM you need to get out there and sell and convince others of your ideas
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $175,000-$220,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. JumpCloud provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan. We have an unlimited vacation policy.
Where you’ll be working/Location:
JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First. All of our roles are remote. If a role requires you to be in a certain location or country, that will be clearly stated in the job description. All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States.
Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote, work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.
