We are looking for a Lead Product Manager, Monetization to help define and expand features for our Monetization services. In this role, you will help driving Checkr’s ambitious Monetization strategy and product roadmap, including the roadmap for invoicing, payment, and other revenue-related areas.   You will also influence the roadmap for all other products including International, Continuous Safety, Verifications, Criminal Check, Motor Vehicle Report, and more.   You will align internal business partners and leadership around defining the plan, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute it. Since Monetization is at the heart of Checkr’s business, your strategic decisions will have a great impact on revenue thus help Checkr to grow to the next level!

Our ideal candidates have good knowledge of accounting principles. You understand the technical, legal, and accounting requirements of building products in different markets.

What a typical week may look like at Checkr:

  • Build a deep understanding and empathy for Checkr’s customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the market needs and requirements.
  • Define the Monetization roadmap and measurable business impact for new billing models and solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship scalable, impactful products and features
  • Drive cross-functional decisions and alignment with sales, product marketing, customer success, business development, customers, and technology partners
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data on billing accuracy, coverage, performance,  and scalability to uncover insights and inform future activities

  • You have 7+ years of experience as a PM at an Enterprise and/or SaaS company
  • You can build a vision and plan for a large solution that will support multiple products with a high level of flexibility.
  • Define holistic product requirements with a profound understanding of customer needs.
  • Understand accounting principles and fundamentals.
  • Experience bringing new products to market from conception to launch. Experience building go to market strategy, with cross-functional counterparts
  • Experience working on products at a global scale, and understanding the data, legal, technical nuances of supporting complex products
  • Experience in Accounting or Finance projects
  • Strong technical background to enable you to contribute meaningful features and seamless integration
  • Excellent user experience skills and attention to detail. You have an instinct for good product design and an understanding of usability best practices
  • You exhibit passion that elevates and inspires when leading the team including hiring, managing performance, and developing skill sets of direct reports
  • Outstanding presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Masters Degree preferred; MS or MBA

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $145,180 - $170,800.
