Envysion, a leading provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, fast casual restaurants and wireless dealers, is seeking a Junior Product Manager. As a Junior Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the product team’s drive towards product success in the marketplace. The ideal candidate has an intellectual curiosity and affinity for facilitating groups to holistic solutions, and the communication skills to keep business and operations staff up-to-date and ready to work with new solutions.
Core Functions
- Analysis of competitive offerings to identify differentiators for Envysion
- Analysis of broad market trends
- Gathering inputs from clients and internal stakeholders to create business cases to set direction and priority
- Understanding and being able to communicate buyer and user problems and their associated business values
- Collaborating with product owners and development team to help define features based on validated user problems and acceptance criteria
- Development and implementation of go-to-market plans, supporting sales, customer success, and marketing activities
- Working with operations and customer success teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of value to new and existing clients
- Maintain and track product KPIs
Competencies and Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in technology organizations
- Strong understanding of SaaS application solution delivery and the steps required to get to “customer ready”
- Experience delivering solutions to the quick serve restaurant (QSR) or convenience store (C-Store) markets is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in translating customer pain points into problem definition statements and acceptance criteria
- Must be solution and team oriented with the ability to collaborate, build credibility and trust, and influence others
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathetic, and can facilitate a meeting of minds with cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytics skills and demonstrated ability for second-order thinking
- Broad base of business skills including: solution positioning / selling, solution implementation and overall business development / growth experience
- Self-motivated, able to proactively work toward goals independently
- Excellent business acumen
