Rachio has built the category defining and leading connected irrigation controller for consumers that is revolutionizing how people interact with their landscapes.  It helps consumers save time and money, most importantly, as a result of sustainably using one of our most precious resources, water. We are looking for a product minded engineer who can take internal and external requirements and use them to build products and tools that assist Rachio in its goal of being one of the top (IoT) companies in the market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage process for internal product development including requirement capture, planning, and tracking of development

• Provide engineering guidance and implementation for internal products

• Manage solutions engineer team and set expectations for quality and delivery

• Engage larger engineering team to determine internal product integrations

• Train and educate internal teams on developed products

• Deliver quarterly roadmap for internal product development

Requirements and Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in product or project management

• Experience working with engineering teams

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, etc

• Experience with HTML, JS, CSS (backend system experience is a plus)

• Design experience is a plus
