We’re a high-energy, high-growth technology company seeking a Head of Product Operations.  Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this person will leverage their product management experience, agile/lean training, and operations skills to mature the Product organization into a high-performing, outcome-driven organization. This is a highly visible role that will have a profound impact on the success of the entire business.

As Head of Product Operations, you will lead the overall development, training and implementation of product systems, processes and operating models for consistent and scalable execution of roadmaps and value delivery. You must be a creative and results-driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively manage projects and act as a central point of contact for numerous internal and external communications.  The successful candidate will be very clear-minded, collaborative, data driven, and outcome focused. You will lead the operational cadence to ensure that the entire Product organization is aligned to execute its strategy with clear roles and responsibilities, accountability and results.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in product or business operations, product management, engineering, project management or related disciplines, with 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS
  • Expert knowledge of modern product management concepts and techniques, including agile development methodologies
  • Experience successfully leading the design, implementation and measurement of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
  • Experience with product management tools such as Aha!, Amplitude, Pendo and Jira 
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with analytics tools, and experience using data to make decisions
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead, and collaborate with cross-functional product teams and manage interactions across engineering, design, marketing and operations 

What You'll Do 

  • Manage and grow a high performing team of product operations managers
  • Implement and maintain tools, systems and processes to ensure that the Product organization is channeling the voice of the customer into roadmap decisions
  • Rigorously set and measure operational and product usage metrics and KPIs that support data driven product decisions
  • Partner with engineering and product management leadership to identity and implement improvements to the product development life cycle (PDLC), putting an emphasis on agile/iterative product discovery and delivery
  • Own and facilitate the product strategy review cadence.  Ensure that internal stakeholders are well-aligned to these cadences and getting the outputs that they need from them
  • Ensure coordination between Product, Sales, Marketing and CX in order to maintain alignment across roadmap, release schedule and GTM strategy

Key Measures of Success for the First Year

  • The Product Operations team is fully staffed and consistently reporting high levels of engagement
  • Aha! and Amplitude have been implemented, with best practices established and users trained
  • Consistent, scalable processes are in place for capturing customer feedback as well as measuring our effectiveness and timeliness in responding to that feedback
  • Consistent, scalable processes are in place for predictably delivering value to customers, from discovery to launch
  • Internal and external stakeholders have a clear understanding of our product strategy and roadmap
