Job Description

The Impact Labs team will transform new product and business concepts into sustainable, organic growth opportunities while building a strong culture of intrapreneurship across FIS. Operating within a product innovation framework, the team vets, tests, and incubates new ventures for successful commercial integration.
This team is where ideas are hatched and next generation fintech becomes reality. The products delivered by the Impact Labs team will impact the FIS product suite and drive significant value back to the business. Most importantly, your work will shape the future financial services landscape.

We are looking for an exceptional Product Leader who is passionate about designing and building merchant and consumer product experiences to help drive the rapid growth of this disruptive startup. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team of Product Managers, Designers and Product Operations team members.
What you will be doing:

  • Define product vision and roadmap with clarity on feasibility, time, cost, and impact
  • Own end-to-end user and merchant experience
  • Create end-to-end product and service strategies that will result in differentiated offerings that allow customers and our organization to create and sustain value
  • Work closely with a cross functional team to define requirements and design features with the goal of securing product market fit and growth
  • Act as the voice of the customer, with a deep understanding of user personas, pain points and customer journeys
  • Design and implement analytical tools and user testing frameworks
  • Gain and share insights with the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and others to continue improving the product and the business
  • Effectively prioritize and define product features so that Engineering, and others, can collaboratively design and execute
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, stakeholders and shareholders in a fast-paced environment to scope, design, concept test and deliver innovative solutions
  • Continuously rebalance product / service features which maximize value and minimize effort to focus on the highest -returning initiatives
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to drive a comprehensive merchant and end-consumer acquisition and retention strategy
  • Proactively mitigate business, operational and governance risks
  • Communicate and present product roadmaps to various team members, stakeholders and shareholders
  • Attract and retain world-class product and design teams
  • Cultivate a high-performing, one-team culture, particularly across product, sales & marketing, engineering, and design
  • Work collaboratively with others on the executive team to ensure corporate objectives are met
  • Hold teams accountable to make and meet commitments


What you bring:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience building products
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with little direction. Prior start-up experience and experience scaling products is a plus
  • Experience launching and growing multiple consumer-facing software products in the market
  • Excellent sense of functional interface design, allowing you to work well with designers and engineers
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Demonstrated success building strong teams and relationships with vendors and customers
  • Proven track record building product management strategies and high caliber teams from the ground up
  • Experience with agile software development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


In addition, we want to see demonstrated success challenging the status quo in previous roles to push for more flexible, scalable, and innovative products

  • Prior working experience in start-up environment or corporate innovation team
  • Fintech experience

The salary range is posted in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.$155,000-260,410. This position may be eligible for bonus and/or commission.
