As Growth Manager, you will be a hybrid product manager, strategic thinker, marketer, and data analyst. You have a growth mindset, are highly adaptable to change, and flourish in startup environments where rapid iteration and experimentation are required. In close partnership with the VP of Growth, your primary role is to interface with our customers, designers, engineers in the pursuit of strong product market fit. Additionally, you’ll be integral in building a foundation for scale, both internally in our team makeup, structure, and processes, as well as externally in product and marketing across the areas of acquisition, retention, and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design & conduct ongoing discovery sessions w/ key users -- including interviews, usability tests, market surveys.

  • Translate the results of discovery sessions into ongoing user personas and journey maps as guides for product development and innovation.

  • Build out frameworks to assess, analyze, track growth opportunities within the product experience, focused on creating growth loops for Brokers and Carriers.  

  • Work closely with the team in establishing an experimentation roadmap that continuously results in a backlog of executables for the design and engineering team.

  • Define and execute on projects in alignment with Imagine’s tactical and strategic goals.

  • Conceive and implement tests geared towards driving strong product market fit and broker book growth.

  • Work closely with engineers by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives, and priorities. Participate in sprint planning and story grooming.

  • Manage our marketing and PR partners, leading the marketing strategy and implementation across our online properties and events.

  • Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education and engagement, and positioning Imagine as a thought leader in the industry.

  • Direct the development of internal brand/corporate identity materials.

  • Manage and enhance the marketing website to align with our product evolution and sales/marketing needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • You’ve worked in a hands-on fashion in a broad range of marketing and product functional roles, including acquisition, retention & engagement, referral, brand purpose articulation, SEO/SEM, copywriting and data-driven insights.

  • You’re an expert at collaborating with design and engineering teams to achieve product enhancements under aggressive deadlines.

  • You’ve developed A/B tests and new product functionalities that have moved the needle.

  • You’ve designed and implemented a variety of market research and user surveys/studies.

  • You love both product strategy and marketing strategy, and are obsessed with the details on execution.

  • Above all, you take a holistic view of the business, and are obsessed with finding the strategic levers that will drive growth — wherever those levers may exist.

  • You have a proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.

  • You have demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions.

  • You have excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with a confirmed ability to influence partners.

  • While not a requirement, any experience w/ Reforge growth courses are a plus.
