Challenges You Will Solve
Red Canary has massive goals. We will not accomplish those goals without becoming a product powerhouse. Your ability to spot trends in the market, create product strategies that enable Red Canary to solve customer problems in a differentiated way and coach teams in product discovery and delivery techniques is the fuel for us to protect our customers from cyberattacks. This position is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy focused on a specific area of Red Canary. You will connect the dots across product teams to ensure a holistic and seamless delivery against our strategy. Additionally, you will lead a team of product managers and coach them on becoming world-class PMs. You will contribute to Red Canary’s product processes and help us scale them with the business.
What You'll Do
- Build and coach a great product team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, mentoring and identifying underperformance of product managers
- Guide your team to follow our product principles and processes, execute the product strategy and achieve customer outcomes
- Contribute to the product vision and own your product strategy. Communicate this internally and externally
- Create product roadmaps that are aligned with the product strategy and ensure the team creates product experiences that solve the job-to-be-done
- Analyze product metrics and propose improvements to our process, product and GTM steps
- Collaborate with product design, engineering teams and leaders from across the organization to get things done and resolve problems
- Lead initiatives to evolve how we build product
What You'll Bring
- Experience leading a team of product managers in a fast-growing environment, including hiring and performance management
- Seven or more years of related product management experience with at least 3 years of people management responsibilities
- Strong outcome-focused product leader, adept at using customer insight, competitive+trend analysis, analytics and judgement to set direction
- Experience defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps that have delivered significant value to customers and business outcomes
- Ability to shape and evolve ways of working, organizational structure, values and culture
- Passion for building products. A growth mindset. Willingness to own problems and a desire to make things better
- Previous experience in cybersecurity, understanding of security trends and problems that security leaders, engineers and analysts face on a daily basis. Demonstrated impact in a world class SaaS product environment
Targeted base salary range: $190,000 - $210,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience
