HomeAdvisor is seeking an experienced, results-driven Director of Product - Growth & SEO who will be responsible for developing and implementing a product vision and roadmap to deliver a best in class experience for our users. As we continue to experience tremendous growth, this person will be tasked with building a product team oriented around exceptional user experience and advanced technical SEO foundations. This role will sit at our Denver HQ and will report into our VP of SEO and Product Growth.

ABOUT YOU

You are:

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, manage and execute the product strategy and roadmap to grow HomeAdvisor’s user base and revenue 
  • Build a product team to deliver best in class website experiences as well as meaningful conversion and organic traffic wins 
  • Take ownership of the front-end experience and work cross-functionally to ensure teams build toward a single, consistent product vision
  • Leverage user research, analytics and data to identify and prioritize growth and SEO initiatives, and deliver on an ambitious product roadmap 
  • Collaborate with other Product and Technology teams across the business to ensure user acquisition and SEO considerations are factored into other products and features
  • Deliver significant growth and scale while hyper-focused on quality

Skills and experience for success:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • 5+ years of Search Engine Optimization, User Acquisition or Growth experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading multiple, high-performance teams in fast-paced, digitally native organizations
  • Proven success in strategizing and executing initiatives to acquire organic users efficiently and at scale
  • Prior experience scaling sites with 10MM+ monthly search traffic
  • Deep experience A/B testing at scale
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions and levels seamlessly juggling the priorities of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and providing guidance to junior team members and the passion for creating an environment where creative solutions are nurtured
  • Familiarity and comfort with big data, including the ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health and organic performance 
  • Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
  • Superior communication skills: you communicate clearly and concisely, including with senior leadership, and can tailor your message to your audience 
  • Expertise working with large scale SaaS platforms and/or direct to consumer marketplace environments is a plus
