The Director of Product Commercialization oversees Worldpay from FIS’s Product Commercialization strategy for the US and Canada. Whether it comes down to designing, manufacturing, testing, quality control or marketing, he/she will be a touchpoint for stakeholders to understand needs, timelines, budgets and more. Always searching to continuously improve Worldpay's catalog of products and services, we will create and maintain stable, reliable systems for our clients and partners.

 

Responsibilities:

Directs a comprehensive Product Commercialization strategy from product conception and definition through end of life.

Value creation and revenue proposition for merchants. Make recommendations to product owners in regard to merchant product strategy.

Work closely with enterprise sales teams to gain knowledge of enterprise clients and adjust strategy accordingly from a product perspective.

Product content creation.

Building the stakeholder relationship and pulling together “the story” associated with enterprise merchants.

Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle.

Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products.

Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control.

Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have enterprise-level product strategy experience, ideally coming from either a payments or enterprise merchant/retail industry background.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Extensive product/project management experience.
  • Must be passionate about driving change and possess the desire to make an impact in the industry
