What You'll be Doing

This is a part-time 20-30 hour Monday - Friday evening position with flexibility to help with team coverage weekdays and weekends as needed. As a MeetMindful  Community Manager, you'll be primarily responsible for supporting MeetMindful customer base and helping to keep our community happy, engaged, and safe. This is an entry-level customer support position in our fast-paced startup environment, every day can (and will) be different. Your role is to take charge and assume responsibility for the following: 

  • Dive head-first into a fast-paced startup, and learn what it takes to serve a quickly growing membership community
  • Respond to member questions and feedback via email support and live chat
  • Promote engagement and adoption of new features across the MeetMindful platform
  • Moderate member profiles to ensure a safe, high-quality community

Our Ideal Candidate Displays

  • 1-2 years experience working in a customer-facing service role, and an eagerness to interface directly with people experiencing challenges every day
  • Impeccable written communication skills, and a demonstrable ability to leverage online communication to authentically connect with others, in a way that is both professional and human.
  • Enormous amounts of patience, compassion, and empathy, and the "thick skin" necessary to meet people where they are and serve—often in moments of frustration
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • High emotional intelligence, a personal mindfulness practice, an affinity for mindful living and a drive for continual self-improvement.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience helping to drive customer success metrics within a support team
  • Experience serving customers over the phone
  • A technical background, or experience working with customers and developers on mysterious technical issues
