POSITION SUMMARY

As part of the Teliax Product Management team, the CCaaS / UCaaS Product Manager will collaborate with all stake holder groups and provide comprehensive product leadership and function as a subject matter expert in Software as a Service (SaaS) products that are aimed at expanding the company’s product portfolio and driving revenue growth. In addition, the Product Manager will help to determine requirements and configuration of our service offerings in order to provide cost effective solutions for new and existing customers.  To succeed you need to be customer focused, passionate, and a self-starter who is not afraid to be creative and take risks. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the vision and design of our Communications platform and products
  • Collaborate with our executive and leadership team to solidify our positioning as a leader in the cloud-based communications space
  • Oversee the strategy and planning for the entire product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product requirements and defining the product vision
  • Translate business objectives into action by successfully delivering on execution strategy
  • Collaborate with the engineering and development teams to develop technical requirements and to define, build and maintain products critical to growth, engagement and retention
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for impactful product launches
  • Engage in customer facing activities including event, industry analyst updates and partner forums
  • Manage technology partnerships as needed
  • Develop and deliver technical whitepapers and product application notes / presentations
  • Create and update competitive data, providing detailed documentation of features for each solution and gap analysis
  • Support Product Evaluations and Proof of Concept testing with 3rd party products and services
  • Attend meetings, networking events, and training sessions as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working for a company with a world-class enterprise SaaS solution that has scaled successfully through rapid growth
  • Understand the development and implementation of large-scale, complex applications in a call center technology environment
  • Ability to translate customer needs and workflows into product features, build business cases to support the prioritization of service and product features
  • Ability to work with and lead a cross functional team to support the delivery of the program.
  • Understand cloud technologies, from call control to mobile, web and desktop applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be self-motivated and work efficiently within deadlines
  • Ability to adapt communication style and maintain professional poise with all levels of company employees, vendors/service providers, customers and prospective customers

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MA or MBA preferred
  • Experience in Cloud Software (5-7 years) – industry background in Contact Center, Cloud, and Telecoms
  • 5+ years of experience owning the entire product lifecycle
