The Business Process Analyst is an expert facilitator who helps discover solutions for stakeholders.  You are the key interface between the internal users and the Innovation & Technology (IT) team to gather information, document processes, and confirm the final user requirements.  You are an analytical thinker and observer who can define business needs and extract the requirements for what must be delivered. Your natural strength as a clear and patient communicator helps you explain difficult concepts to users.  You are a whiz at writing clear requirements and creating data models, process diagrams and design wireframes that will further support the business’ needs. You have a keen sense for what key details are missing and the potential impacts and challenges to the solution. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions

  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies

  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

  • Perform requirements analysis

  • Document and communicating the results of your efforts

  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports

  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements

  • Perform user acceptance testing

  • Manage projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance

  • Update, implement and maintain procedures

  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users

  • Manage competing resources and priorities

  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis or a related field

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to build solutions

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

  • Competency in Microsoft and/or Google productivity applications

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects
