Position: Associate Product Manager, Developer Tools

Location: Broomfield, CO

Overview:

The Associate PM of Developer Tools will work closely with many engineering groups as well as multiple Product Management members to deliver and message extensibility features such as APIs and SDKs. This position will also be responsible for engaging developers’ through the Alteryx Community, partner support, and other evangelism activities. 
Responsibilities: 

  • Engage cross-functionally to accomplish organizational objectives including defining new API's and SDK's
  • Actively communicate with developers, users, and partners on the Alteryx Developer Community
  • Support all aspects of the product area including support and evangelizing product strategy and vision, customer satisfaction and success, and delivery and execution of product features.
  • Work closely with the Marketplace PM and the Technical Partnerships PM
  • Evangelize Alteryx extensibility in the Community and internally 
  • Educate partners and users on the capabilities and implementation options for Alteryx integrations and custom applications 
  • Manage the lifecycle and end of service policies for features
  • Communicate directly with customers for feedback, discovery sessions, troubleshooting and assistance 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in technical field (science, computer science, math, MIS, data & databases, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical background; experience with APIs and SDKs
  • Experience building web applications or work in a coding environment with JavaScript or Python is preferred
  • Strong customer focus, comfortable working in both a client-facing and internal-facing environment
  • Problem solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Experience working with Alteryx a strong plus
  • Effective documentation skills with ability to absorb and articulate technical information to both non-technical AND technical audiences
