Guild is hiring an Associate Product Manager, Academic Partner Lifecycle to help build new products and features for our academic partners. In particular, this role will build an onboarding flow for new academic partners, build tools for them to configure and manage data exchanges with Guild, and otherwise improve their experience throughout the lifecycle.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will:

  • Work with talented and creative engineers, designers, and product managers across Guild to build intuitive and frictionless experiences.

  • Collaborate with our technical program managers, implementation managers, and operators to ensure smooth and successful partner launches.

  • Communicate directly with academic partners to improve their journey through Guild’s Academic Portal.

  • Collaborate with other academic teams to build a robust but efficient architecture.

  • Propel your career as a product manager by learning from a team of experienced startup and growth company operators.

In this role you will work directly with other Guild employees like Matt Hubbard (Product Manager), Libby Balogh (Product Manager), and Tessa Morse (Engineering Manager).

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in Product Management, Technical Project or Program Management, Customer Success Management, or in Operations.

  • Curiosity about how to solve the core business problems many partners are facing.

  • Grit and experience in a startup or fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with frequent change, don’t suffer from “analysis paralysis,” demonstrate a sense of urgency, and have a bias to action.

  • Empathy and interest in building strong relationships with external clients and partners. This role will involve constant communication with partners and quarterly or more travel.

  • Experience building, supporting, or significant use of B2B SaaS portals.

  • Detail-orientation and the ability to think across cross-functional systems to solve problems.

  • Preference for working in a low-ego, constructive, collaborative team where “rockstar” behavior is frowned upon rather than encouraged.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams. Guild is a rapidly-growing company and success often means working across the organization to get things done.

  • Passion for our mission of pioneering “education as a benefit.”

  • Commitment to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
