Apttus CPQ Solution Architect

We are looking for an Apttus CPQ Solution Architect to serve as the lead for large implementations.

Primary Responsibilities:  

·         Serve as the technical expert for Apttus CPQ

·         Complete technical documentation including but not limited to technical design documentation

·         Define and recommend technical architecture and design related to customizations

·         Complete hands on development and customization

·         Work closely with the functional teams and client resources to ensure the system meets the needs of the client

·         Ensure system scalability

Required Qualifications

• Experience playing a Solution Architect role on at least 1 end-to-end project
• Business acumen as it relates to the CPQ business process
• Apttus CPQ 201 certification a plus, but not required with relevant experience
• Proven experience with creation of relevant documentation including, but not limited to Apttus CPQ solution design document and requirements documentation
• Experience running requirements gathering workshops
• Experience with migration of CPQ across environments including experience with the Apttus migration tool
• Knowledge of the fundamental capabilities of Apttus CPQ including but not limited to:
  • Products and Pricing
  • General Shopping Cart functionality
  • Quoting and Quote Templates
  • Approvals (Deal Manager/IWA preferred)
  • Etc.
• High level knowledge of pricing callback capabilities and ability to identify where customization using code is required
• Fundamental understanding of Apttus CLM capabilities, Apttus CLM 201 certification a plus
• Experience with hands on configuration of Apttus CPQ
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Salesforce experience and certifications a plus
