Fanatics needs you! You are a talented Principal Engineer who is passionate about solving hard technology problems that have huge leverage for business. You enjoy mentoring senior and junior engineers, delighting users, building beautiful user (or RESTful) interfaces and writing code that you are proud of. You thrive at turning ideas into a product and clearing technical hurdles. You are a flexible technologist who knows that there isn’t one tool for all problems. You also are hungry to learn new technologies and apply them to difficult problems. You are passionate about shipping quality product and building strong teams that execute at a high level.
•Work closely with our Fanatics Vertical Engineering team to deliver solutions to drive growth and efficiency.
•Interaction with Business and Technology executives to identify pain points and opportunities to attack.
•Being a technology leader for the Vertical Engineering team.
•Help with recruiting a strong technical team that aligns with our mission and culture.
•Develop Back End applications.
•Develop Front-End applications
•Comfort building early POC’s to products that reach millions of users.
•Accurately estimating completion of deliverables.
•Integrating REST API’s from internal and external teams.
•Evangelize the work of yourself and the team.
•10+ Years of Software Development experience
•Expert level knowledge of 2+ programming languages.
•Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
•Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
•Bias for Action – You get stuff done.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
