Pricing Analyst

Who We're Looking For

An experienced pricing professional with experience in hosted services or SaaS pricing models. You should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, overcoming challenges, problem solver, and accountable when meeting deadlines. Become a valuable partner to both sales and product organizations to assist them with pricing strategy and deal governance.
You will join a highly visible Product Pricing & Offer Management team. You will provide pricing support to sales teams, deal analysis, deal governance activities, and any pricing related reporting required. This position reports to the Sr Global Pricing Manager and will have a global support responsibility.

Some of What You'll Do

Pricing Strategy:

• Work across functional areas within the company to ensure that product pricing meets the needs of the customer while maintaining strategic financial margins and revenue
• Develop renewal strategies/pricing to ensure continued revenue streams from existing customers
• Understanding competitors, their key people, pricing, and product strategies

Deal Analysis:

• Analyze pricing proposals and options in collaboration with Sales team, Product team, and Senior pricing team members
• Perform margin and revenue analysis in order to support business initiatives and ensure current and future proposed revenues and margins are in line with company goals

Deal Governance:

• Prepare financial materials required for Deal Desk reviews
• Assist sales in presentation of materials
• Coordinate internal meetings with key stakeholders
• Ensure sales teams are following established deal governance

Any other task that is required to fulfill the position’s objective.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance preferred
• 2+ years work experience as pricing professional
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal personnel
• Strong grasp of business strategy, functions, markets and risks
• Mastery of systems, analytical tools, and data management
• Insatiable desire to solve business puzzles
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of Salesforce
• Working knowledge of Appian software a plus
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills
• Ability to communicate technical information & Influence management
