As a Partner Development Representative, you will represent Databricks and our partnership org by connecting data consumers and data partners to discuss data sharing strategies. With a mix of strong process, project management, and creativity, you will help drive new partnerships through both inbound and outbound conversations. You will work closely with our Partnership and sales teams to strategize expanding the relationship with our current partners. To accelerate our rapidly growing partner ecosystem, we're looking for agile, team-centric professionals who demonstrate discipline, compassion, and technical curiosity to learn. You will contribute significantly to Databricks overall goals and have the opportunity to build valuable, transferable skills to help grow your career on multiple paths.

The impact you will have:

  • Build knowledge of our technology and ecosystem of partners 
  • Establish rapport with partner and data leaders 
  • Understand the account team’s & prospect's needs and effectively communicate how Databricks Delta Sharing could elevate our partnership
  • Consistently meet the Partnership org’s business goals 

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the subject matter expert, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of our data collaboration ecosystem to successfully identify key partnership opportunities.
  • Onboard data partners to our data sharing ecosystem and share initial go-to-market strategies 
  • Develop strong relationships with external consumers, data providers, and Databricks teams, to ensure accounts get the resources, training, and support they need for successful data collaboration.
  • Enable internal field teams on upsell opportunities to expand market reach 

What we look for: 

  • 3+ years of sales or partnership experience
  • Proficient in technical aspects related to data, delta sharing, and the intricacies partnership journey
  • Creative, self-disciplined, and proactive 
  • Skilled in project management and fostering cross-functional collaboration 
  • Motivated by purpose and by winning with a team-first attitude 
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
