EverCommerce is looking for a full time payroll specialist to help us grow and scale our business. This person will be part of the Empowerment team (you might know us as “Human Resources”) and be a champion of EverCommerce culture. Where:
EverCommerce headquarters is located in the heart of LoDo. Our collaborative, open-plan office space is filled with high-energy, passionate people who enjoy their work and each other's company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·      Process payroll semi-monthly for 350 employees in multiple states (with the expectation that this number will continue to grow!)

·      Update employee information, process new hires and exits, and generally tend to all things payroll related

·      Potentially manage the transition to a new payroll system

·      Create an atmosphere of trust by protecting confidential information

·      Assist with integrations related to mergers and acquisitions

·      Help with the process of onboarding large groups of employees

·      Manage the integration between payroll and benefits

·      Help to maintain pristine and complete HR files with up to date data

·      Manage special situations like mandatory withholdings and state filings

·      Complete employment verifications

·      Ad-hoc projects—this is a many hats kind of role on a small team where everyone pitches in to do what’s needed

Skills & Requirements
 

·      Minimum two years of experience running payroll for a company of 100+ employees in multiple states

·      FPC or CPP a plus

·      Paylocity/BambooHR experience a plus

·      Extraordinary professionalism, off the charts attention to detail, and ability to untangle complex problems

·      Positive attitude and strong service ethic
