Udemy is seeking a Workplace Partner to join our scaling People team. This role supports the Workplace function in creating a welcoming, organized, clean and safe environment in our office spaces. This is a great opportunity to manage and collaborate within a growing facilities footprint and make a meaningful impact for a rapidly expanding learning organization.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of strong People/Workplace experience in rapid-growth tech environments, an approachable demeanor, a true attention to detail and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Candidate must be a self-starter able to work independently with a remote manager. Experience in office expansion, build outs and moves of varying sizes and scope is a strong plus.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare/maintain soon-to-open brand new LODO space using established return to office protocols (sanitation, PPE as needed, supporting technology, hoteling, etc.)
- Function as main point of contact for Udemy’s Denver office, providing support and logistics to employees and visitors
- Create and ensure a phenomenal employee and visitor experience
- Act as first point of contact for employees and all visitors
- Liaise with People Partner and L&D team on onboarding/offboarding employee experience and coordination.
- Event organization/coordination and swag/gift procurement
- Coordinate office events, both on and offsite, including new hire shindigs, happy hours, lunch roulettes and others
- Partner with L&D Team to arrange training and workshops
- Act as point person and project lead for any future office renovations, subsequent build-outs, or moves.
- Ongoing enforcement of onsite security protocols to ensure employee safety, following IIPP guidelines
- Conduct Health and Safety Audits
- Lead Safety Squad efforts and training
- Manage Pandemic protocols and follow local guidance
- Vendor management including contract compliance and communications with all internal and external service providers.
- Develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with property managers and landlords
- Sustain office aesthetics and functionality by ensuring kitchens and conference rooms are fully stocked and clean. (our global Workplace team doesn’t mind getting a little dirty!)
- Create and improve processes and programs with ideas for scalable solutions.
- Provide support as needed onsite in San Francisco HQ
- Train, coach and mentor other employees within the Workplace team and cross-functionally; partner with a global team to identify opportunities for improvement and launch company-wide initiatives.

- The skill of prioritization and staying organized in a constantly evolving work environment.
- The ability to act autonomously the majority of the time, but to ask for coaching and guidance when you encounter new challenges or more complicated problems.
Salary Range: 80,000-120,000
