We are looking for a Vice President who will be instrumental in driving the revenue strategy and solution delivery for Prologis Essentials and partnering with our global leadership to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution. You will be passionate about leading, motivating and mentoring our global solutions teams to achieve daring revenue targets and to deliver successful sales results. The successful candidate is a top producer with strong customer focus, consultative selling and leadership skills. The VP will have an ability to scale the business, to drive growth and profitability globally and craft key growth sales strategies.

What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the essentials sales goals through all available channel, online and offline.

  • Craft, develop and execute Sales Plan; Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales teams, business line owners, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategy planning.

  • Build sales process and funnel for manual top-down outreach, onboarding, activation, and expansion into new customer sectors and establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives.

  • Work collaboratively across teams - including procurement, real estate teams, product and marketing.

  • Develop the company sales funnel metrics per stage to increase predictability and provide full transparency into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally.

  • Develop key relationships with all vendors and customers across key sectors, products and services.

  • Sets and achieves annual and quarterly sales.

  • Develops and implements effective processes, tools, and motivational techniques to support effective sales activities that are rooted in solid, repeatable practices across several markets.

  • Actively engage with customers to fully understand their business strategy, needs and pain points.

  • Build and scale Global sales team in line with potential sales growth plans; Acts as an inspiring leader, evangelizing and offering education for the products owners and the field offices.

  • 10+ years experience consultative product and services selling into Large/Medium and Small accounts.

  • 10+ years proven experience building and leading successful sales teams.

  • Effective leadership and team building skills.

  • Results driven, pragmatic with strong financial acuity. Shown success and consistency in achieving targeted sales goals.

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing a direct sales team including tracking product margins, designing commission structures, improving sales conversion and growing customer share of wallet.

  • Collaborative and consultative approach with outstanding communication skills. (verbal and written).

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and strong desire to deliver results.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a fast paced work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

  • Experience handling CRM systems to run sales processes.

  • Start-up experience is an advantage.
