The Vendor Assistance team is a team at Pax8 whose role is to own any cases that have been escalated to Pax8 Vendors, Microsoft being one of the main vendors. The VA team is responsible for guiding the partner through case resolution by scheduling screenshares and phone calls, regularly following up with case stakeholders for required information, and maintaining case scope. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Monitor and manage ticket work queues within ServiceNow
  • Perform troubleshooting with vendor defined issues including:
    • Password resets
    • Work closely with our technical support team for vendor escalations
    • Escalate cases to necessary vendors and assist Pax8 partners through the life cycle of cases
    • Facilitate information between Pax8 partners and Pax8vendors to continually move cases towards resolution
  • Escalate work to other teams and/or resources while acting as point of contact for Pax8 Partners
  • Work with team members to document processes and generate knowledge base articles to establish troubleshooting best practices

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years’ previous work experience 
  • Entry level experience diagnosing problems with software and cloud products 
  • Ability to be customer service oriented and work well in a collaborative team environment 
  • Has a passion for learning  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems 
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email 
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly 
  • Excellent typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details 
  • Ability to be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment 

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. in IT, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • ITIL Certification preferred

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $36,000 or more depending on experience



*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
