Summary
US IT Manager will provide guidance, instruction, leadership, and Management to the team, and ensure smooth, stable operations for company systems and services. We’re looking for a passionate and efficiency-driven IT Support Manager who believes in the Funding Circle mission and values.
We are a group of passionate engineers whose bread and butter is learning new technologies and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment. We’re looking for partners in crime who feel the same.
As a Regional IT Manager, you will…
- Be a global contributor, working independently and mentoring local IT teams; provide global and local coaching and facilitation
- Understands business needs and offer engineering solutions to meet those needs
- Play a leadership role in creating and ensuring implementation of engineering standards
- Communicate incident status and updates to the business and global leadership
- Provide guidance, instruction and leadership to the IT team, and ensure smooth, stable operations for company systems and services.
- Queue management and Service Level Agreements are being achieved
- Coordinate critical global meetings (work along side Service Desk Engineers making they setup it)
- Maintain and improve the relation with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain vendor and supplier relationships including procurement
- Maintain documentation for the IT systems, services, processes
- Make sure Global standards are being achieved
- Work along internal security teams and external auditors making sure the procedures are being followed and implemented
- Understand the team ambitions and frustrations, meet with team members frequently.
- Supervise stock levels and the software/hardware purchase.

- Have experience in engineering best practices across a wide range of technologies
- Strong experience in team communication, provides constant feedback and welcomes feedback from other
- Strong delivery focus, responsible for ambitious target setting, inspires and leads team
- Success in prioritizing tasks and quickly delegating locally or globally
- Available to work during off hours in support of incidents or major maintenance (occasionally)
