This travel industry expert will be responsible for the construction, implementation and execution of a world-class travel service training curriculum. The role will work in lock-step with the Director of Travel Service Operations to identify and build content and internal process. They will be responsible to train the best practices for travel agency systems, processes and customer service.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience within the Travel Agency industry
  • Proficiency in Sabre and Sabre Red platforms
  • Robust product knowledge in:
    • Air Travel Booking
    • Luxury Hotel Marketplace
    • Cruise Vendors
    • Global Travel
  • Exceptional written composition and verbal presentation skills
  • 4- year degree in Hospitality, Travel Services or related field
  • Microsoft Office proficient

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Salesforce Lightening and Virtuoso Platforms
  • Large and small group hospitality training experience
  • 2+ years of management/leadership experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the internal Director of Operations - Travel Services to build a robust training curriculum for 150+ travel advisors focused on:
  • A streamlined process for customer discovery
  • Destination and global accommodation product options
  • Sabre | Sabre Red Platform Best Practices
  • Aligning customer preferences with portfolio
  • Sales strategies to maximize revenue potential
  • Design and train to luxury travel service standards
  • Facilitate both onboarding and ongoing travel service education to growing Member Care Team
  • Provide quality and consistency service and process evaluations of the Member Care Team
  • Act as the resident expert of travel-services training for: air, hotel, global destination offerings and customer service
  • Organize process for on-site vendor visits, Familiarization Trips to partner sites and continuing education certification programs
  • Provide development opportunities for struggling advisors
  • Create and implement a recognition program for top performing advisors in travel
