About the position

IntelePeer is looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to join its growing training team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering instructor led virtual and onsite classroom training for customers, partners, and employees. When you’re not delivering training, you’ll be creating and maintaining training content that supports training objectives. You’ll be working closely with the Manager, Technical Training to help make IntelePeer’s training program the best in the industry.

Position responsibilities 

• Deliver virtual and onsite instructor-led training courses for customers, partners, and employees in the US and internationally.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to create training content (e.g. presentations, guides, videos, etc.)
• Manage training requests
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions
• Conduct training needs assessments
• Create and administer tests to evaluate learner performance
• Use surveys to assess training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
• Maintain the training environment

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Communication, Computer Science, or related field)

Expertise & competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Communication, Computer Science, or related field)
• 5+ years of technical training experience
• 2+ years instructional design experience
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Able to quickly learn new skills and master technical concepts
• Engaging presenter comfortable speaking to live and web-based audiences of various sizes
• Able to teach technical skills and concepts to non-technical audiences
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Familiarity with adult learning theory
• Experience creating and editing training videos with Camtasia or similar application
• Experience creating and editing audio with Audacity or similar application
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks
• Able to occasionally work different hours of the day to accommodate audiences in various geographical locations
• Able to travel domestically up to 25%
• Able to travel internationally, if needed

Good to have

• Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or similar certification
• Experience training, supporting, or implementing SaaS solutions
• Working knowledge of CPaaS
• Working API knowledge
• Working knowledge of SMS and SIP
