The Technical Support Engineer is a detective whose knowledge of relational databases, scripting, web applications, networks and general knowledge of internet communication protocols provides a valuable insight for solving problems. They are responsible for providing high-quality technical support for the Granicus software services we provide to the government and public.

This person will also work on other programming and documentation projects as required. The Technical Support team partners with the Customer Support team in maintaining a "Customer Focused" environment, partnering with our stakeholders to achieve the highest customer lifetime value and satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

· Troubleshoot Granicus supported hardware in customer environments.

· Provide solutions to issues by scripting automation, writing database update queries, managing services hosted by Granicus and troubleshooting application issues for govMeetings products.

· Participate as a coordinator by providing guidance to other teams, triage / manage ticket queues and escalations from support during business hours

· Update the ticket tracking system to provide information back to the reporter on current status of an issue, steps taken to resolve reported issues and notes on troubleshooting steps taken.

· Creating Knowledge Base articles to expand the knowledge for handling support issues including but not limited to SOP's, systems explained and troubleshooting tactics.

· Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.

Who You Are:

· You have enterprise SaaS or web-hosted software experience.

· You have experience with networks, network tools, firewalls, appliances and protocols

· You have experience with streaming media on internal & external networks

· You have experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Pingdom, or LogicMonitor.

· You have experience troubleshooting network infrastructure issues.

· You have experience supporting or administering Windows 7 and Windows server.

· You have experience with scripting languages, ideally PowerShell.

· You have relational database experience (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/etc.).

· You have a technical understanding of agile SDLC.

· You have a passion for problem-solving.

· You've used ticketing systems such as JIRA or a similar bug tracking system.

Location

1999 Broadway is located in-between Denver’s Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods. Granicus occupies the 36 and 37 floors of the building.
