Primary purpose of the position:
As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team for North & Central America (NCA), our Talent Acquisition Outreach Specialist leads and coordinates the outreach activities by utilizing Ball Corporation’s strategic sourcing framework. This individual will provide support for existing NCA plants and corporate locations. Additionally, this role is a strong collaborator with our Talent Acquisition team, TA Marketing Specialist, Communications and D&I teams to continually develop unique methods for attracting talent to Ball Corporation as an employer of choice.
Key primary responsibilities include:
TA Sourcing and Advertisement – Develop internal and external sourcing strategies, plans and outreach tactics. Work products will include (but are not limited to) outreach/sourcing strategy development and tracking, various regional/local presentations, digital signage, news, radio, digital and other media advertisement, and local hiring event logistic coordination. Partner with TA Marketing Specialist for rollout of grassroots outreach materials and resources to be utilized at each location. Continuously review and assess ROI performance metrics from outreach sources.
Subject Matter Expert - Serve as a functional expert for Talent Acquisition teams on key sourcing trends in the marketplace, including unique talent pipeline and talent attraction strategies.
Local Regional Partnerships - Act as primary representative and/or contact for regional and local outreach programs, platforms and advertisement. Responsible for developing regional and local relationships with career workforce offices and community based organizations to increase candidate flow and D&I efforts.
Partnering with Key Stakeholders – Partner and cofacilitate discussions with hiring teams and Talent Acquisition Partners to craft unique and effective outreach/sourcing plans and lead the execution of plan. Support TA organization on the approach for effective job postings and recommend additional recruitment marketing technology as necessary. In addition, partner with D&I teams to enhance recruitment outreach and ensure inclusivity in all campaigns, advertisement and media posts.
Experience and skills required:
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college/university or work-related experience in communications, journalism, public relations, social media, recruitment, etc.
- Minimum of 3 year(s) job-related experience, with specific experience in sourcing, content creation, graphic design or advertisement creation.
- Strong working knowledge of the following areas:
- Comprehensive knowledge of public relations, social media best practices or business communications practices.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to partner with clients and colleagues to develop and execute sourcing plans to attract talent to open positions.
- Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, HTML and other technologies; knowledge of graphic design, photo editing and video production/editing preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $60,000- $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
