About the team

This is a growth position in an organization that has grown dramatically over the past 5 years.  You would be a member of a small but highly motivated team of professionals where collaboration and teamwork is mandatory.  You would share responsibility for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of mainframe z/OS software. 

What you will be doing

You must possess a strong understanding of z/OS systems programming and evaluate vendor supplied software and make recommendations to IT leadership.  Installs, modifies, documents and diagnosis vendor supplied software.    This client is located in Manila, Philippines.  This is a unique shift pattern, requiring work from Thursday to Monday covering the weekend during normal Manila working hours.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • z/OS CICS Operations
  • z/OS CICS Support
  • Provide Technical support of the System z infrastructure to provide high quality customer service and meet or exceed SLA expectations
  • Collaborate with other units and serve as a technical resource/Subject Matter Expert
  • Contribute to research and Development projects as required

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree/ equivalent experience and 7+ years as a mainframe systems programmer.

This is a unique shift pattern, requiring work from Thursday to Monday covering the weekend during normal Manila working hours.
