The Systems Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for delivering Pax8 platform features and enhancements that provide value to the business and partner community. Owning an area of focus in the Pax8 partner journey, they collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and our partners. This includes translating high-level business needs into detailed functional requirements, analyzing impacts to systems and processes, managing product backlogs and sprints, and conducting user acceptance and stakeholder demos. The Systems BA drives product development and continuous improvement with stakeholder feedback and alignment to Pax8's strategic objectives.

Essential Responsibilities (Includes, but is not limited to):

• Managing, prioritizing, and documenting daily technical and functional requirements for platform feature and bug requests
• Identifying and documenting technical and functional project requirements based on brainstorms, feedback sessions, written functionality requests, and bug reports
• Working closely with internal stakeholders, Internal Operations Team, and Software Engineers to gather, refine, and clearly document requirements
• Effectively communicating functional and technical requirements to cross-functional team members and management
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects via daily stand ups and weekly project status meetings
• Conducting meetings and presentations to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents with Software Engineers
• Ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Communicating new feature releases and system functionality to stakeholders through multiple vehicles
• Understanding and reconciling long-term vision with day-to-day requirements of the Pax8 platform

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Business Analysis or a related field
• Previous experience leading and supporting successful development projects
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
• Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
• Ability to create a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives
• Ability to manage competing resources and priorities
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to distill key ideas out of brainstorming sessions
• A team player accountable for results
• Previous experience with Agile/Scrum Software Development required
• Experience with Wrike, SQL, PowerBI, Salesforce, and Keynote preferred

Required Education & Certifications:

• B.A./B.S. in Business, Computer Science, or a related field of study; or equivalent work experience
• Business Analyst Certification/Project Management Certification preferred
• Agile/Scrum certification preferred

Compensation

• Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $60,000 or more depending on experience #LI-HK1
