You are responsible to handle day to day tasks of provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT systems hardware and software. You'll also have the skills and vision to support technical research and development to enable growth and innovation within the infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders. A unique aspect of this position is that the company is working towards a consolidation of IT Systems. As an active business partner in this high growth environment, your pioneering attitude and problem-solving ability will help scale the IT infrastructure to the next level in our business.Applicants must be located locally in Denver, CO or surrounding areas as in office work will be required.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing and maintaining PC and Apple hardware and software for internal employees
- Configuring and deploying equipment/software including management of active directory and internal distribution lists
- Troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals
- Resolving network communication problems independently and partnering with 3rd party providers when issues occur
- Partner with human resources and department leaders in employee onboarding and offboarding
- Infrastructure support including managing Cisco ASA firewalls
- Perform system backups and data recovery, daily system monitoring verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
- Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary
- Upgrade and configure system software that supports our production environments. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
- Perform periodic performance reporting
- Review and manage IT Ticketing platform
- Track and manage IT related assets
- Updating asset management system to reflect work performed
- Performs other duties as requested by management
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2+ years' experience with PC, Apple, and infrastructure support, including deployment
- Minimum 2 years' experience with PC and Apple hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to think and act independently to resolve issues, understand and act quickly when issue escalation is required
- Familiarity with V2P and P2V virtualization technologies
- Adaptable to change in process or required activities
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and documentation skills
- Customer service attitude is a must
- Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements
This position is based in Denver, CO with a salary of $50,000 - $75,000. Hybrid in-office / remote work allowed.Benefits include the following:
