Frndly TV is excited to offer a dynamic role as a System Administrator!

 

This role focuses on maintaining & developing Frndly TV’s Information Systems policies and practices to ensure secure, stable, and compliant system operations & related functions. Participate in developing, planning/coordinating, and analyzing the strategic plan of our growing information systems by researching and applying best practices. Recommend changes, upgrades, and new projects to facilitate meeting dynamic business needs. Assist all employees with technology-related needs through performing remote and in-person troubleshooting of numerous devices, device types, and operating systems. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

General IT Support (60%)

  • Evaluates company IT  needs, through the lens of company objectives and goals, and researches applicable solutions for best implementing those needs.

  • Choose, manage, update, and maintain records in an asset management tool

  • Deploy equipment for employees

  • Implements and monitors controls to ensure proper maintenance of hardware and software including upgrade recommendations 

  • Arranges service by hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products. 

  • Manages employee access management including onboarding and offboarding responsibilities 

  • Maintains awareness of changing technology/systems trends & regulations and creates realistic recommendations 

  • Develops implementation plans in tight coordination with impacted departments

  • Ensures technology utilization providing a fast, accurate, and secure method to access information in a highly efficient and effective manner. 

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves employee systems issues through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, including the use of diagnostic tools

  • Assists with employee technology onboarding (software & hardware setup and configuration) 

  • Provides service support in a professional, courteous, and timely manner to all employees. 

  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

 

Required Experience: 

  • 2+ years experience in IT

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical detail to any employee in a positive and easily understandable way.

  • Experience in Local and Wide Area Networks

  • Knowledge & experience supporting, troubleshooting, and configuring PC & Apple Mac hardware

  • Experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, Google G-Suite, iOS, & Android

  • Experience with end-user desktop, mobile device, and email support 

  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • BSc/BA/AA or certification in IT, Computer Science or relevant field

  • Certified Network Engineer (CNE) a plus!

• Compensation Range: $45,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + Equity! (final pay determination will be based on experience)
