OnDeck is offering an opportunity for a System Administrator to join the IT Support team. We have a current need to scale up our IT Support team and provide hands on support for our Denver office. Our company is growing significantly and it is essential that we have the capacity to maintain an excellent level of service to all of our users. You will be part of a talented and friendly team of technology professionals and report directly to the Director of Technical Operations in NY. 

In this role, you will:

  • Support Systems Engineering team with server builds and application rollouts
  • Support Network Engineering team with switches/routers installs and cabling
  • Support Security Team with rolling out endpoint security tools and act as the go to person for security incident response tasks
  • Provide end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance in an office environment as well as remote
  • Any scripting experience will be a huge plus
  • Assist in the implementation of network changes as instructed their manager
  • Document, track and monitor issues via ticket tracking system (JIRA) to ensure a timely resolution
  • Provide regular updates to customer as needed until case is resolved
  • Set up workstations for new hires, including imaging computers, software/hardware installs
  • Adhere to administrative procedures to properly document change management
  • Manage asset inventory and report on any changes or needs
  • Continually improve their own skill sets and learn new technologies as directed by their manager
  • Offer feedback and recommendations to improve standard procedures and customer support methods and processes

  • Strong organizational skills (punctuality and timeliness a must)
  • Ability to multi-task and to prioritize workload to complete projects according to established timelines
  • Motivation and maturity to work independently, be a self-starter and know when to escalate
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues with PC/Mac laptops, Printers, VOIP phones
  • Familiarity with office software products like Windows, Office, Internet Browsers, Adobe, Anti-virus
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX
  • User Management via Active Directory
  • Endpoint Management via BigFix and Casper
  • Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting network issues
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds of IT equipment
  • After hours availability for critical support and projects that must be done during downtime windows.

  • Operating Systems: Windows 7 & 10, Windows Server 2008/2012, Current Version of Mac OSX, ESXi 5.x
  • Networking: Cisco routers, ASA Firewalls, Cisco Switches
  • Server Applications: AD, DHCP, DNS, NetBoot/NetInstall, OSX Server, SFTP, SSH,
  • Endpoint Management: BigFix, Casper
  • Productivity Applications (On/Off Premises): Office 365 Suite, Foxit, Salesforce, Cisco VOIP phones, vSphere Client, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Cisco ISE, RSA, ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira ServiceDesk, Kaspersky AV, Cisco AMP, WebEx, WebEx Teams
