Supply Chain Manager
About This Opportunity
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key enabler for Rachio’s rapid growth by ensuring best-in-class supply chain execution across quality and flexibility -- owning day-to-day operations and managing Rachio’s third-party partners for manufacturing and 3PL. You will obsess over Rachio’s inventory and fulfillment, adjusting production schedules to match demand and ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries. You will own key metrics and partner SLAs for production, inventory management, and fulfillment functions, as well as develop and implement strategies and execution plans on key supply chain initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and collaborate closely with the Manager of Strategic Sourcing as well as Rachio’s Consumer and Product teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage production schedule and coordination for hardware and consumable products, including problem-solving any materials shortages or labor issues to ensure a scalable and flexible operation
- Manage Rachio’s 3PL partner on a day-to-day basis, ensuring on-time and in full order processing and fulfillment with SLAs consistently achieved
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers and fulfillment partners, including regular travel to sites (when safe to do so, considering COVID-19)
- Establish and own supply chain metrics for production and logistics, including third-party performance against SLAs and key metrics, identifying flags to take action
- Support demand and supply planning through S&OP and adjust production plans as needed; regularly update contract manufacturers and other production partners on forecast and build schedule timing
- Own inventory management across multiple 3PL warehouses to optimize for target inventory levels and key metrics
- Ensure reverse logistics and returns processes are efficient, and any defect data is analyzed and actioned as needed
- Lead integrations/automation projects to reduce manual entries and increase efficiencies, as well as data accuracy and availability
- Own SKU setup and management across multiple systems (NetSuite, 3PL, manufacturing MRP, and retail partners) and ensure they sync appropriately
- Conduct analyses for supply chain and logistics optimizations with recommendations
Requirements and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations or fulfillment/logistics management role, preferably for an outsourced supply chain (specifically contract manufacturers and/or 3PLs) involving consumer products
- Proven ability to gather and review supply chain performance data and developing recommendations for actions to take
- Analytical with strong, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and process
- “Owner’s” attitude, including a willingness to tackle problems through to solutions and an ability to work both independently and across functions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization, including the ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a diverse audience
- Proficient with financial concepts and their application to supply chain and operations
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
