Sustainable Beverage Technologies (“SBT”) makes draft beer more profitable and environmentally-friendly. Our patented fermentation process creates beer with 6 times the flavor density of traditionally-produced beer. By distributing our beer in lightweight bag-in-box (“BiB”) packaging -- instead of heavy steel kegs -- and blending with carbonated water at the point of sale using our proprietary NexDraft tap system, we generate tremendous savings in logistics, shipping costs, water usage, and fossil fuel consumption.

Your Mission

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for scheduling production for our contract brewing customers, and ensuring ingredients and packaging materials arrive in the right place at the right time. In this role you will be the main point of contact between our customers, suppliers, and subcontracted brewing partners.

Principal Responsibilities

• Schedule production and packaging runs at both SBT’s pilot scale facility and our subcontracted brewing partner facility
• Publish and communicate a master schedule of production activities, both internally and externally; give timely updates to all internal and external stakeholders of any schedule changes
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of all required raw materials, either through direct purchases or by assisting our customers with their own procurement
• Collaborate with production staff to identify and maintain other resources needed to optimize production; e.g. replacement parts, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Maintain accurate inventories of materials and supplies within our brewery management software
• Analyze inventories and purchasing procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Assist customers with FTL and LTL freight as needed
• Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and customers
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing activities and logistics; preferably an understanding of brewing and/or beverage manufacturing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software, preferably Google Docs and Sheets, as well as task management software such as Trello
• Proficient with ERP systems or production management software such as Ekos

Required education and experience

• Three years of experience in a similar, relevant position
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred education and experience

• Five years experience in a similar, relevant position
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

Annual base salary: $50,000 - $55,000 (based on level of experience)
