As a Sr. Manager of Partner Success, you will be the main face of Simple Energy to our clients and will be responsible for the KPIs and overall success of our existing programs. You will own specific clients and partner with people from various areas to drive the day to day tactical execution of the program operations.

To be successful, you’ll need to collaborate with both internal and external resources, including utility program staff and Simple Energy Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance how and Executives so the right candidate needs to be adept and effective at cross functional communication and coordination.

This role requires great flexibility as you’ll be serving in a variety of roles and working across multiple Simple Energy squads. This will be sure to keep it interesting!

Key Responsibilities

Overall, we're looking for a Sr. Partner Success Manager who will focus on the client retention and loyalty.

  • Account Management
    • Act as a trusted advisor for our utility partners managing the execution of the scope of work including planning, program management, and reporting to maximize results and customer satisfaction.
    • Work with clients to forecast and develop and monitor program success metrics.
    • Lead quarterly business reviews that analyze past trends and navigate the client to strategic changes to maximize programmatic success.
    • Main point of contact between clients and internal development resources; work with Client Solutions and Product to identify additional opportunities to support our client's business goals.
  • Reporting
    • QA client reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    • Respond to ad hoc reporting as required by our clients
  • Quality Assurance
    • Create descriptive, complete JIRA tickets and work with our Engineering team to drive them to completion
    • QA email, web, and content across channels in support of our client engagement and program operations teams
    • Ensure new features are completed as intended and free from significant bugs before being delivered to the client.
  • Project Management
    • Actively communicate with other squads to promote client needs and ensure delivery of work as outlined in scopes of work.
    • Effectively communicate program status and health to clients via status reports and status meetings.
    • Take ownership of piloting accounts and ensuring that all key deliverables are understood and met.

Requirements

  • Strong alignment and passion for the Simple Energy values and mission
  • Consulting and/or client engagement experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences both in person and over the phone
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to quickly familiarize themselves with the intricacies of each program and customer
  • Comfort in delivering complex, constructive and diplomatic messages
  • Experience maintaining a positive relationship with clients and colleagues
  • Strong proficiency in excel. A candidate must be able to manipulate data using vlookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems within the constraints of a SaaS offering
  • Exposure to and understanding of Agile and other technical project management methodologies is a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as technology, consulting or a startup
  • BA/BS degree
