Alteryx is seeking a Sr. Manager, Technical Training with experience in managing instructor-led training (ILT) and digital training development and delivery. In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Global Customer Enablement, and you will be responsible to enhance, create and maintain Alteryx training portfolio in alignment with our data science products. You will have the opportunity to manage and mentor the development team to enhance the customer enablement in this rapidly growing team and organization.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with leadership to formalize and evolve the training catalogue for Alteryx products, data science, and advanced analytics
  • Manage the end-to-end content development and maintenance process
  • Manage time commitments to ensure deadlines are met and training content meets high level of quality
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, professional services, and across the global customer enablement teams teams to develop content roadmap
  • Deliver alpha, beta, and ‘train-the-trainer’ training worldwide for internal and external audiences as needed
  • Ensure the readiness of all course and lab materials prior to delivery, including localization, if required
  • Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues with training lab topology
  • Ensure high quality of training content by performing ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and updating of training content, demonstrations, hands on labs and assessments
  • Extensive familiarity with technical training best practices, technical acumen, and strong writing skills are required to design and build learning experiences
  • Create report on training effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes
  • Research learning trends to continue evaluating and enhancing the training solutions portfolio
  • Mentor and educate Customer Enablement content development team

Required Skills: 

  • 7+ years of experience managing content development teams
  • 5+ years of experience developing and creating technical Digital and ILT content
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from strategy to execution
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in related discipline (adult learning, data science, statistics)
  • Experience with Alteryx Designer is plus

Valued Skills: 

  • Bonus points for any of the following: Alteryx Designer Advanced certification, experience with geospatial analysis, analytics automation, or Alteryx Server, experience with conducting technical training.

Compensation: 

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
