Strive Care Partners
Strive Care Partners (SCP) is a dedicated business unit within Strive Health that partners with nephrologists to share and succeed in global risk contracts with payors. SCP will benefit patients with CKD and ESKD through a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that enhances lives and local communities. SCP develops local market partnerships with nephrologists and provides them with the tools necessary to be successful in managing risk on their patients. Specifically, SCP delivers primary care services, specialized clinical programs, data integration and analytics, care teams, and administrative support services – all embedded within the nephrologist’s practice. SCP contracts with local market payors on the nephrologists’ behalf to take global risk on their CKD and ESKD patients and provides nephrologists with meaningful short-term and long-term financial incentives, including participation in shared savings and equity-based programs.
Sr. Manager, Market Operations
Manages operational processes across live markets with a focus on scalability, high performance, and continuous improvement. Serves as the leader of SC365 overseeing growth and market financial performance and supports the development of the business case for SC365 in future years.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the singular owner for SC365 growth and financial performance
- Collaborate with functional leaders from growth, contracting, market development, actuarial, and finance, to execute on SC365 annual OKRs
- Builds playbook for successful SC365 market operations (staffing, metrics/dashboards, ops standards/goals, etc.)
- Oversees the practice manager who leads day-to-day operations within the markets
- Fosters neph and other referring provider relationships in the markets
- Manages P&L for SC365 across markets, in concert with the regional P&L owners
- In partnership with the Practice Manager, ensures clinicians have what they need in the markets to patient deliver care
- Appointments scheduled
- Rosters/panels
- Supplies required
- Support staff available and trained
- Identify entities providers may need admitting or rounding privileges at specific to their markets/patients
- Network development/strategy for risk markets
- Partners with the Implementation Team on implementation of new SC365 markets
- Build the business case for 2024-5 SC365 operations
- Budgeting/staffing
- New markets
- Strategic changes that enable other LOBs, like CKCC
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in provider engagement / provider relations
- 5+ years of experience in managing teams
- 2+ years of experience working with payors or in a payor environment
- 2+ years of value based care experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field or business administration
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with primary care providers, nephrologists, and care management teams a plus
- Provider contracting experience preferred
- Experience designing and implementing clinical protocols and workflows preferred
- MBA or MHA preferred
- Experience leading virtual teams
- Demonstrated ability to utilize data to drive performance and outcomes
- Ability to teach, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, results orientation, team building and decision-making.
Annual Salary Range: $107,400.00 – $134,200.00
Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits. An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
