The ideal candidate has advanced networking experience in a cloud environment and is AWS certified in advanced networking and security, has a strong understanding of DevOps networking along with experience integrating physical appliances securely with a cloud architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Implement services according to basic architecture best practices
• Design and maintain network architecture
• Leverage tools to automate networking tasks
• Experience with secure edge and cloud communications strategies
• System admin services
• Manage relationships with third party contractors
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
• Own product security
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering departments to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive architecture.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Administrating various devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN)
• Very strong analytical thinker.
• Management ability
• Experience with different communication types (satellite, cell, radio, fiber)
• Maintains composure under pressure.
• Fast learner with a strong technical acumen.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of DevOps Networking
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools

EDUCATION:

· Four (4) year bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field required or equivalent work experience.
