As a Solutions Engineer, IT Construction and Procurement Technology, you will be responsible for architecting the design and integration of these new or enhanced technology solutions. This will also include technology evaluation, testing, implementation, and support to this business group. The role operates within the new IT Construction and Procurement Business Capability team, a new multi-functional team being built to support the construction and procurement digital transformation journey. What’s needed to do that:
Expected to test the status quo in the construction industry and provide recommendations for technology advancements.
Prioritize owner/operators concerns over GC concerns using understanding of GCs and delineation.
Participate and engage in ongoing construction technology development with the business area.
Liaise with Data and Analytics team to advance future state of construction analytics, cost, schedule, productivity.
Provide technical advice and coordination to construction projects with a technology focus.
Translate business requirements into technical documentation.
Provide technical assistance on problems regarding construction technology.
Prepare technical documents on processes including support instructions as needed.
Excellent software application skills for a variety of systems related to design, construction, project estimating and financials, scheduling & costing and project management functions.
Experience designing, architecting, and integrating technology solutions within various environments.

4 years of IT experience. Degree in Technology is desired.
Minimum of 3 years of construction technology experience.
The position requires a working knowledge of the construction industry and technology. Example construction technology: Digital project management (laser scanning, GPS), 2D/3D machine control equipment, VR/AR, PMIS, Virtual Design & Construction.
Effective decision-making, planning, communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Training in Construction Project Management is a plus.
Cloud technology/application experience.
Applicable experience in the construction, design, operation, maintenance, and related equipment is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to achieve results.
Work collaboratively with others.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Experience with formal delivery methodologies such as Agile, a plus.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Hiring Salary Range of: $95,000 - $120,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target)to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
