Solution Exploration Engagement Manager (Remote)

Guild is hiring a Solution Exploration Engagement Manager to join our Credit for X team. You will play a key role in discovering and developing new strategies for growing and scaling credit for prior learning and other pathways to credit that serve working adult learners, with a particular focus on Guild’s current and future employer partners.
As part of our Credit for X team, you will look at ways Guild can continue to support and scale credit for non-traditional education like credit for training, credit for work, and all forms of credit for prior learning. You will work directly with our academic and employer partners to create pathways to ensure that all learning counts toward degree completion.
As an Engagement Manager on the Solution Exploration team, you will:
- Collaborate with the Credit for Prior Learning Director to grow and scale Guild’s Credit for Prior Learning offerings
- Lead project work streams to deliver insights and strategy to employers and academic partners
- Mentor junior team members
- “Manage up” and support directors and executive leaders in projects
- Review and synthesize research and data related to credit for prior learning
- Balance multiple strategic priorities related to credit for work, credit for training, and other credit for prior learning initiatives
- Collaborate with Guild’s Client Services, Employer Solutions, and Learning Partnerships teams to ensure successful communication and client management with Guild’s partner institutions and employer partners
- Develop skills and knowledge across the higher education sector
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership related to credit for prior learning
Required Proficiencies
- 5+ years experience in higher education, online learning, consulting, workforce development, or equivalent
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Ability to develop and scale new systems and processes
- Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to keep track of both high-level progress and the small details
- Ability to think critically about sophisticated issues
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Knowledge of and direct experience in the higher education sector
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and constantly evolving priorities internal to the company and with academic partners
- A sense of humor and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse teams in an ever-changing and fast-growing company
- A passion for growing educational access and empowering learners
Preferred Competencies
- Previous experience in higher education, workforce development, and/or consulting

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market driven, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, bonus eligibility, as well as company stock options.
