SOC Analyst - Tier 1
SOC Analyst
As a Tier 1 SOC Analyst, you will participate in incident response as you triage information security events and incidents across Zoom’s environment. In this role, you will collaborate and leverage your problem solving skills working along side a team of skilled analysts to address complex problems within a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC). You will use your experience in Information Security to monitor the SIEM for security events and alerts to potential or active threats. You will maintain awareness of the global threat landscape by partnering with Zoom’s Threat Intelligence team. You will field reported security events from internal teams and will escalate security incidents per Zoom’s incident response plan. You will utilize your information security experience and communication skills to contribute to security event and/or incident investigation reports.
Note: Hours: 8:30pm - 6:30am MST Wednesday-Saturday.

About the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of related experience in an Information Security analyst role
• Security certifications (i.e. CISSP, Security+, GCIH, GCIA) a plus
• Experience with security monitoring in a SOC environment
• Experience with host and network security tools
• Ability to employ critical and analytical thinking, logic and attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• U.S. citizenship is required

Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$72,630.00 USD
Maximum :
$134,370.00 USD
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
