Snapdocs is looking for a Security & Compliance Analyst. In this high impact role, you will have an opportunity to drive innovation to develop and improve compliance processes at Snapdocs. If having this kind of visibility and impact at a fast-growth startup sounds attractive, then we should chat.

Snapdocs is an early-stage, rapidly growing company backed by Sequoia, YCombinator, F-Prime Capital, and other prominent investors. We are tackling the truly massive mortgage market, developing modern software for an industry that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency, and joy to a paper-based pillar of the US economy. We’ve managed to capture ~13% of all US mortgages and it’s time for us to take that growth to the next level. That’s where you come in…

As a subject matter expert at Snapdocs, you will develop privacy compliance programs that map to standard frameworks including ISO 27001, GLBA and CCPA. You will Support ongoing certification assessments including ISO 27001 and SOC2 while maintaining documentation, processes, and continuous monitoring of Snapdocs’s implementation of various control frameworks. You will also participate in selecting, planning, and implementing control programs with a focus on automating privacy and compliance functions. Lastly, you will collaborate with internal teams to maintain and improve our privacy and regulatory compliance program.

Our ideal candidate will have 7+ years experience designing, developing, and maintaining security and privacy compliance programs within the financial, banking, or mortgage industry. This person will have experience with Cloud Data Privacy and Security on Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP) with compliance and risk management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, GLBA, CCPA. Ability to lead cross-functionally (this role will touch every piece of the organization), patience (communicating security to security novices), bias for action (we’re a startup), presentation skills, and attention to detail (of course!), will be the foundational attributes that will set you up for success in this role.

Snapdocs’ culture is one that strongly values diversity and drive. We want to work with people from different backgrounds and different paths in life. We provide a range of excellent benefits from the standard stuff (401(k), free lunches, excellent health benefits) to the not so standard (4 weeks and a day of vacation! 4% match on 401(k)!, and a 10 year exercise window on your options!!) and our location in downtown Denver is super convenient (we are currently based in the Wells Fargo Center).
