The Manager of SalesForce Administration ensures the Marketing/Sales tech stack is positioned to meet the needs of our rapidly globally expanding business. They gather business needs, design, and oversee the team implementing scalable solutions to keep pace with the business needs. The Senior Administrator establishes the business processes, controls, governance, and documentation needed to support global scale.

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Platform optimization and road mapping (40%)
    1. Oversee and manage all aspects of Salesforce.com CRM
    2. Develop and maintain a roadmap for platform enhancement
    3. Audit current implementation, identify issues and technical deficiencies, design and implement corrective actions
    4. Work with cross organizational stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, IT/ Engineering) identifying business needs and implementing scalable solutions
    5. Configure items such as user management, roles/profiles, permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, process builder, flows, lightning pages, custom metadata types, custom settings, managed packages, performing mass updates, including record creation, automation scripts and programs to eliminate manual activities
    6. Push metadata from sandbox environments to production through SFDX
  • Data integrity, PII, and security (40%)
    1. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the system including development of necessary reports and processes
    2. Implement PII, GDPR, and CCPA compliant solutions
    3. Partner with corporate security implementing solutions meeting security needs
    4. Identify and assess security risks and solutions
  • Team leadership (20%)
    1. Oversee a small (

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least five (5) years of experience implementing and configuring Salesforce
  • At least two (2) years of experience with Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • At least five (5) years of previous management experience in a similar role
  • Ability to build a growing team
  • Solid understanding and detailed experience with the .com architecture
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with business owners and technical partners
  • Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets preferred
  • Experience working with tools like Marketo and Pardot preferred
  • Strong understanding of the SalesForce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred
  • Experience migrating from Classic to Lightning preferred
  • Extensive automation experience preferred

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • SalesForce Certification: Administrator and Platform App Builder preferred

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
