Senior Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP Administrator
Overview
The Gogo Business Aviation Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP Administrator will be responsible for the software development and financial software implementation within our Ground Systems and Aircraft Services Team. The aspiring candidate will decompose complex business requirements and utilize software best practices and past experiences to implement creatives solutions for our end users. Efforts include working with web services, SSRS, SSAS, Team Foundation Server, Salesforce, and Jet Reports.
This is an extremely exciting time at Gogo, where our newest products are enabling us to provide real-time world class support and customization unlike anything else in business aviation. This role is an integral part of taking our foundational work to the next level and using our data-rich ground systems to continually push the limits of what is possible in aviation – both on the ground and in the air.

How will you make a difference?
- Plan, design, develop, test, maintain and support high quality software applications by analyzing business processes and creating functional software processes in MS Dynamics modules
- Solve business problems using your development skills to build the right solution for internal stakeholders
- Understand the Microsoft Dynamics NAV technical platform inside and out, participate in solution design, system configuration, testing, implementation and support, ensuring that client requirements are successfully implemented
- Assist internal business units by answering support tickets in a timely and expedient manner
- Work with implementation team members and end users to meet business goals and satisfy requirements
- Implement workflows, build/support interfaces and integrations, educate co-workers and assist with other development priorities as required within an Agile software development framework
- Create formal technical/system documentation to standards and conventions as needed by team members, end users, and to maintain SOX compliance
- Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical people as well as understand requirements given by clients and business consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of proven software development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, preferably with role tailored client in NAV 2015 or later
Required Experience, Skills and Talents
- Dynamics NAV C/AL development experience
- Experience following a recognized modern development methodology like Agile, Scrum, SAFe Agile, etc
- History of delivering completed projects on time and on budget
- Strong and broad business understanding – allowing you to determine when to change the code and when to drive changes to business process
- SQL Server experience, SSRS or RDLC report development a must
- Familiar with integrations between NAV and other applications such as Salesforce, Jet Reports, Experlogix, and Datahaven
- Desire to understand root causes and a strong ability to plan for and execute resolutions
- Flexibility and adaptability when learning and understanding new technologies
Desirable Experience, Skills and Talents
- Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution industries
- Proven experience with Lanham E-Ship, Datahaven, Experlogix, Unipoint, and Insight Works/DMS add-ons
- Experience with scanner integrations
- SOX compliance and working within a publicly traded company
- Microsoft.NET (C#), ASP.NET, Web Services, Jet Reports, SQL Server 2014+, Salesforce integrations, Visual Studio 2010+

Base Pay:
100,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
